Shelanu Travels takes Jewish teens beyond the classroom and into the world. Through our partnership with Etgar 36, teens experience powerful travel that connects American history, social justice, Jewish values, and the people and places that shaped our country.

Our Civil Rights Journey brings teens together for an immersive weekend exploring the history of the Civil Rights Movement. From Atlanta to Montgomery and Selma, students visit significant sites, hear from people connected to the movement, engage in meaningful conversations, and experience history firsthand.

Along the way, teens build friendships, wrestle with big questions, and explore what it means to live out Jewish values of justice, courage, and responsibility.

Shelanu Travels is more than a trip—it’s an experience teens will remember, talk about, and carry with them long after they return home.
